The dive master course is the entry level to becoming a dive professional. It ensures students have exemplary diving skills to demonstration level, rescue skills to prevent and manage accidents and role model skills for student divers in training.

A professional level of dive theory, competence as a certified assistant, dive management and supervision abilities are also taught on this course.

Course materials include Manual, DVD, Encyclopaedia of Recreational Diving, Diving Knowledge Workbook, slates and wheel.
